While traveling adjacent to the Otter Creek near Proctor, Vt, yesterday, I
saw about 40 water fowl swimming in open water. I was going too fast to ID
them but it was good to see them anyway. I don't recall seeing so many
ducks on open water in northern New England prior to this winter.
