First stop was in North Haverhill, the large corn stubble field opposite the Mobil Station. Highlights included about 20 Horned Larks, 3 Lapland Longspurs and 2 Snow Buntings.
In Franconia: Franconia Farms at the intersection of Rt 166 and Coppermine Road, an astounding mid-winter congregation in the pastures and surrounding trees of American Robins. Conservative estimate 250!
At Trudeau Road highlights: 2 White-winged Crossbills, a Red Crossbill and 8 Pine Siskins.
