AMAS conducted a birding "tour" of the CT River Saturday from the 
Spingfield Meadows to Putney.  We tallied 55 species including 10 
species of raptors (many kestrels), 9 species of ducks, a Pied-billed 
Grebe, and a pair of YB Sapsuckers.
