Up on Lake Armington the flocks of Siskin are elbowing or winging out the goldfinch at the feeder as the Blue Jays push them all out. Juncos and Sparrows eat the leftovers on the ground.
One Evening grosbeak, the first of the season, sits in the tree just above the fray, only watching...not feeding at the seed feeder with the others, while five Common Mergansers are visiting the Lake in the distance
