Two days in a row I've seen two great egrets. Yesterday both were in a dead tree in Plainfield, NH just north/east of Stage Rd/12A. Today one is in the tree and the other is 1/2 mile up the road towards WLeb in the swap between Complete canine and south end of Old County Rd.

Yesterday, biking through that area a crow was mercilessly chasing a piliated woodpecker. Didn't see it today though.
