A total of at least 13 cardinals in the backyard here in snowy Norwich
village today was an all-time high count for this location. Among the
other 12 species detected around the house, a lingering White-throated
Sparrow was the most unusual.

Yesterday 4 Cedar Waxwings and an American Tree Sparrow were present,
but neither of those species was seen today.

George Clark
Norwich, VT
