I was walking around the Linny Levin Trail at UVLT's Zebedee wetland yesterday around 5pm. The peepers were deafening! I did manage to hear the unmistakable sound of an American bittern above the din. I also saw the largest snapping turtle I have ever seen cruising along the shore. The head was the size of my fist and the carapace had to be 20" long!
