From 7:00 to 9:00 am on Saturday May 26, 2018, a bird walk is to be held at the Bedell Bridge State Historic Site in Haverhill, NH., as arranged by the Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon. Join Jeff MacQueen and George Clark to look for species such as Warbling Vireo, Baltimore Oriole, Willow Flycatcher, Green Heron and Red-bellied Woodpecker. Many other species are possible among the breeding birds and late migrants.

Bedell Bridge State Park is reached by the access road on the left off Route 10 just north of the Haverhill Green. Birders from the Hanover/Norwich area are encouraged to carpool leaving at 6:30 am from the parking lot in Norwich on River Road at the west end of the Ledyard Bridge. The trails and road at Bedell Bridge are mostly level, but the grassy trails may be wet. Binoculars and bug spray are recommended.

For more information on this and other bird walks held by the Mascoma Chapter, visit www.mascomabirds.org
