I heard and then saw a FOY Black-throated Blue Warbler this morning. I stood very still on our dirt road a long time. And then a chickadee zipped straight across in front of me about under my nose - right into a dead birch nesting “slot” at my eye level, on the road verge. No fluttering dipping flight, it was a fast straight shot.
