Late this morning, two adult Bald Eagles were together on their large nest on Johnston Island in the Connecticut River. This nest, first used in 2016, is in West Lebanon and last year was most closely viewed and photographed from the vicinity of the parking area behind Gold and Ski Warehouse. Today, however, the birds on the nest were seen from inside a vehicle briefly stopped on Connecticut River Road in Hartford, VT, on the west side of the river across from West Lebanon.
