Late this afternoon (3-4pm) I had a small flock of House Finches at my feeders which included a "Yellow variant" (Sibley's) or "Orange Variant" (Peterson's). Lighting was excellent and the male's color was a lovely golden hue (more orange than yellow). Of course, the skittish flock took off as soon as I approached the window with my camera. This may have been the same flock I saw about 1:30 further up VT-14 near the end of Jericho St.

Other birds at my feeders today (morning & afternoon)
Black-capped chickadee
Tufted titmouse
White-breasted nuthatch
Downy woodpecker (M & F)
Hairy woodpecker (M)
Slate-colored junco
American tree sparrow
American crow
Blue jay
Mourning dove
Starling
