Planned trips this evening and tomorrow evening are still on schedule
with forecast conditions being in the general range within which
woodcock have been found to display in the past. The current weather
forecast is more favorable for Thursday night. On both nights, expect
temperatures in the lower 40s, but this evening there is to be a
chance of sprinkles and a gusty breeze producing a wind chill in the
upper 30s. Participants should bring binoculars, dress warmly as
though for winter, bring a flashlight, and wear foot gear suitable for
wet conditions.

These woodcock walks in Hanover are to meet for carpooling at 7:15 PM
in the reception area at Kendal of Hanover and will last a little less
than 2 hours. These bird walks, to be led by George Clark, are free
and open to the public and arranged by the Mascoma Chapter of New
Hampshire Audubon and the Kendal Bird Club.
