--- end of quote ---

A busy day at the feeders at our house on Elm St. yesterday. A very cold,
fluffed up robin eating crabapples off the tree.

The flock of purple finches had 2 adult males, 3 adult females, and 7 immatures.
They were at the feeders for about 30 minutes, allowing some great up-close
viewing.
