Anyone who would like to watch merlins is almost guaranteed to see them at a
specific place on the Hanover golf course.

I have seen five or six at once every day I've played (three timnes a week) for
the past three weeks.

Drive north out of Hanover on the Lyme Road (Rt 10) and park across the street
from the Fire Station. Walk out toward the 8th and 15th fairways and listen for
their mournful cries (almost a wine). You will see them flitting between the
tall pines that line each of the fairways.

And watch out for golfers and golf balls!

Mike
