New years day out in the champlain valley (shelburn to bridport) yielded, 20 Redtails, 6 Roughlegs, 3 light, 3 dark. 2 male harriers, 1 other harrier, 2 coopers hawks, 1 song sparrow, a few american tree sparrows, 17 bufflehead, 1 pileated wood pecker, 1 hairy woodpecker, 9 bluebirds, many  robins, many crows, 1 unconfirmed n. shrike.
1 Redtail and one dark phase rough leg caught and banded. photos available, just ask..
