Friday night had a whippoorwill singing to the moon in North Haverhill. I heard an American redstart and a black and white down in Norwich yesterday. And I heard a Northern parula today at the French Pond boat launch. I went searching for it in the mucky woods but was too slow for a warbler. Then I heard an ovenbird and the white-throated sparrows were going off nonstop. Tried some new binocular tricks from Bird Diva on a winter wren… I never get enough binoc action.
