Up here in Bethel chickadees seem up, while evening grosbeaks are noticeably
missing

Still missing 3 partie's results due to bad weather, etc., so all results
are not in ( like 20%ish).
Early highlights:
2 bald eagles - Wilder Dam late afternoon
190 wild turkey - count record, but no surprise, even with the tough
visibility
3000 American crow - the roost was in West Lebanon behind the old rail yard.
Maybe not an avian highlight, but impressive to see, nonetheless.
1393 black-capped chickadees - low number for recent years
1246 cedar waxwings - surely a count record
714 bohemian waxwing - surely a count record
80 northern cardinal - continued solidification
97 tufted titmice - continued solidification
400 + common redpoll - if you've got a thistle feeder and haven't seen them
yet, prepare your pocketbooks
229 pine grosbeaks - just plain elegant birds to me
4 snow bunting - just plain etc
6 Carolina wren - not solidifying yet, have appeared before and been wiped
out by cold winters in the past, ?? global warming??
1 red-bellied woodpecker - best rarity, but maybe early expansion
