Happy 4th.

 

While waiting for the grand show at the Lake Morey Golf course last pm. I
noticed a Merlin (actually I was keeping my eye out).

 

We missed the "works" there last year, but the 2 previous I had seen
Merlins. 

 

Saw one (or or was it 2 diff). Several times flying from tree tops on the
fairways. (male due to small size ?) my guess is they are nesting there.

 

Flew off toward the Episcopal Church by the rescue station which was where
we saw 5,  4-5 years ago..
