We went for a walk on the Mill Rd. yesterday afternoon and it turned into birding bonanza.  At the junction of Mill Rd. and Northern Rail Trail, we simply stood on the bridge and enjoyed a smorgasbord of birds hawking bugs.  My wife now understands why I lose track of time when I am birding.
