Was at Bedell Bridge from 2:30-3:15. Did run into a large mixed flock of well over 200 Starlings and Red-wings (I didn't try to count). Small group of sparrows along the trail to the platform near the pond on the right as you go out - 2 Song Sparrows, 5 White-throated Sparrow, a (red) Fox Sparrow, an American Tree Sparrow, and a surprising and quite late Lincoln's Sparrow that sat up for about 20-30 seconds only 15 yards away, enough time to study and appreciate this gem. The streaking was more fine than usual across the breast and down the flanks, the face and superciliary gray with a dark line through and behind the eye. Saw another late Lincoln's at Lebanon Airport on 10/28.
