After a nearly complete dearth of birds for the past month or more, we have a very few returnees to the feeders the past week. Three chickadees, about five juncos, one white throated sparrow, and a couple of mourning doves are present, but still no woodpeckers,nuthatches, or titmice.
This an extremely unusual scenario here at this time of year.
