While we have been seeing more juncos than usual for the last couple of weeks,
today it became exceptional. We counted a least 100 and the total was probably
closer to 200 all around our yard on River Road. Perhaps reflecting the
abundance of birds to eat, we were visited at least a couple of times by a
sharp-shinned and also watched a red-tail being harassed by a raven.
