I was lucky enough to get good looks at the Northern Wheatear at the VA hospital before being encouraged to leave by the ..nice... (ahem) policeofficer, and am also glad to hear they lightened up a little bit and let people take photos again.. 

I didn't know anything about the species other than it was rare, but just looked them up and am reading that all birds no matter what part of the very far North they breed winter in Sub-saharan Africa, and migrate round trip +18,000 miles! Still a ways to go, I guess!
