Noticed a lone chickadee acting off at the feeder. Upon inspection  
through binocs looked like it had been slobbered on and all the  
feathers around its neck were gone. Bright red ring there instead.  
Wonder what it escaped from. Looked like something like talons had  
encircled its neck but if that was the case would it have been snow  
that got it so wet looking? Cat? Coyote? Weasel family? After sunning  
it seemed to get stronger, ate a bit and eventually flew off.
