What I originally thought must be one of the neighborhood Northern Mockingbirds (due to 5+ repeats of each sound) mimicking bird calls instead of songs is now confirmed to be a European Starling... NOT a species I was hoping to attract to my yard, and Definitely not someone I was hoping would think about staying to raise a family! I hope he doesn't drive away or kill my native resident mimics (the catbirds), but I guess if I'm going to be stuck with a Starling it's a small comfort that it's a talented one!
