Among 15 bird species around the yard here in Norwich village today,
highlights included a Carolina Wren briefly singing this afternoon, an
American Tree Sparrow, an unexpected Swamp Sparrow, at least 9
cardinals (10 or more have been present at dusk before going to roost
on many recent days), and 6 Pine Siskins.

More details on today's birds are available at
http://ebird.org/ebird/vt/view/checklist?subID=S21034818

A male Red-bellied Woodpecker, seen here as recently as yesterday, was
not sighted today but has been visiting off and on since back in
November.
