I have two hummingbird feeders that are regularly visited by hummers and
orioles alike. Yesterday, I had a strange visitor to the hummingbird feeder
on three occasions, a black capped chickadee. Has anyone ever heard of such
a thing? It rapidly beat its wings to stay hovering as it dipped its beak
into the red flower well, flew off, and then returned another two times.
