It was hard to hear the morning chorus over the red-winged blackbirds, but I
head and saw warbling vireos, yellow warblers, yellow-rumped warblers,
Baltimore orioles, and a phoebe near the pond. A bit farther down the rail
trail heading west: tufted titmouse, ovenbird, and Louisiana waterthrush.
Also lots of turtles.
