A belated sighting...Lorena and I saw a Fox Sparrow and an American
Woodcock at the Main Street Pond in Enfield last Saturday morning,
that's the 7th. There were also about a dozen grackles with a couple
Red-winged Blackbirds, half a dozen Song Sparrows with a Tree Sparrow
mixed in, two Eastern Phoebes, 8 Common Mergansers offshore on Mascoma
Lake, and Robin, Chickadee and Tufted Titmouse.
