While walking in the woods in Sharon, I accidentally flushed a turkey 
hen off her nest at the base of an ash tree. Her nest had 16 eggs, and 
there was a 17th that was six or seven feet from the clutch. The lay of 
the land suggested that it hadn't accidentally rolled there. Might it 
have been expelled? The egg was unbroken.
