Since this last snow fall, I have noticed a dramatic decrease in the amount of birds visiting our feeders. For example: Evening Grosbeaks 50-6, Mourning Doves 30-10. Some of my usual neighbors, chickadees, cardinals, tree sparrows, titmouse, blue jays, crows, goldfinch, juncoes, hairy and downy and occasional red bellied woodpeckers are still around. But they seem to be visiting less often. I am just wondering if anyone else is noticing this too.
I haven’t seen the Snow Buntings in about a week as I ski and walk the trails around the farm.
