Thanks to Jeff MacQueen for all the information about the Richmond Conservation Land in Orford. My sister and I went over there this morning. We didn't have a Marty Stouffer experience, but we loved the place. It was a gorgeous day, and we did spot some ducks, including a pair of Common Mergansers. I'm new to the listserv and a novice birdwatcher, so I appreciate very much all the postings of places to go to see interesting birds and fowl.
On Saturday, 4/11 we explored the area around Kendall Station and saw our first Green-winged Teal. What a treat.
We go to Mink Brook in Hanover regularly and have seen already this Spring a lot of Hooded Mergansers, Mallards, a Wood Duck, Canadian Geese, Belted Kingfisher.
Thanks to everyone for all the information.
