Last week in my yard and up at Grafton Pond I have been hearing a loud peeping sound which is repeated as many as 12 times. It comes from the edge of the woods.
I have heard that peepers, spring frogs will also call in the fall. However, I think that what I have been hearing is a bird. In past years the sound moves more like a bird could move.
    Any suggestion would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    J. Langevin
