FOY - Barn Swallows mixed with a large flock of Tree Swallows at Post Pond, and returning to my yard in Lyme Center last evening (May 1) - a great start to May. Last year I had four nesting pairs. I'm hoping for equal or greater success this year. My bird boxes are sadly unoccupied so far - no Tree Swallows and no Bluebirds. Peg Ackerson [log in to unmask]
