This is a reminder that on Saturday November 4, 2017, Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon is to hold a bird walk in Addison County, VT. Carpoolers are to leave at 7:00 AM from the parking lot at the west end of the Ledyard Bridge in Norwich. If coming from Hanover, cross the Ledyard Bridge, take an immediate right turn at the traffic light, and then an immediate left turn into the lot. Plans are to return to this lot in the late afternoon. This trip is free and open to the public. All experience levels are welcome. Walking is over level ground. Bring binoculars and, if available, a spotting scope. Bringing a lunch and drinking water is recommended. Dress warmly as wind chills can in some years be winter-like. The present weather forecast for Saturday is favorable, but In an unfortunate case of adverse conditions such as a steady rain or hazardous road conditions, this event would be canceled. Please see the October 26 announcement of this trip in the UVB listserv archives for many additional details related to this trip.
