I was kayaking on Grafton Pond Wednesday, and saw 2 Loon Families- one 
family with 2 chicks and one family still nesting. Apparently there are 
others there as well.  The big excitement was the arrival of a Bald 
Eagle  which created an uproar.  The Loons started calling frantically 
and a small bird chased the Eagle around the pond.  I took some pictures 
of both the Loons and the Eagle. Although the Eagle photos aren't great, 
I wanted to record the event. It looks to me like this bird has bands on 
both legs- does anyone know anything about this?  The last time I saw an 
Eagle there was several years ago.
