Observation date:     2/25/07
Notes:     Surprised a Great Horned Owl in the headlights on I-91 North just
before the WRJ rest area.  It was right on the pavement, standing over a kill
(roadkill?).  This was at 1:00 am on the drive back from a contra dance in
Greenfield, MA.  I don't know who was more surprised, the owl, or the driver.  I
swerved; the owl stood its ground.
