There was a definite influx of waterfowl on the Conn. River last night.
I made 5 stops between Kilowatt and Pompy Flats in early afternoon and
had 8 species total. The most conspicuous arrival was Green-winged
Teal, with 2-8 birds present at 4 of the 5 stops.

Other highlights were 39 Ring-necked Ducks and 7 Common Goldeneyes at
Kilowatt, an adult Cooper's Hawk at Ledyard, and 3 Ring-billed Gulls at
the mouth of the Ompompanoosuc.
