One mistake in our entry of birds at Ledyard bridge today: 2 teal (1
pair), not 2 pairs.

And an addition: 1 mink - swimming on river right, then on shore > right
under the bridge! This is truly an under-appreciated area of the upper
valley. The railroad causeway almost always has something interesting.

> This morning we paddled by canoe from Ledyard to Wilder Dam. Water
> level is low again. Chris' and Charles' species still there, plus
> goldeneyes and a merlin.
>
> Prior to the paddle, in Norwich we found a snipe in the ditch, and
> with out moving the car, a Meadowlark with a good-size flock of robins.
