Otto here,

After a seemingly long,  exceptionally cold winter; the first real signs of spring finally arrived to west Woodstock today.  For a couple of weeks, we've had flocks of robins raiding the crab apples that survived the winter. But, they and flocks of Cedar Waxwings made infrequent appearances all winter long when ever it got warmer.

But today, there were five turkey vultures, soaring above the rapidly melting hillsides.

So long, old man winter..
