Yesterday morning (Saturday) I was surprised when walking down my driveway on
Dana Rd in Hanover to hear a merlin calling from a tree in my yard.

I was even more surprised when I eturned home in the afternoon to hear it again. 
I finally located it high up in a spruce tree in my neighbor's yard.

And more surprise greeted me this morning when I heard it again.  I live in
residential Hanover and wonder if it is one of the golf course merlins expanding
its hunting range.  They are still active in the same area on the golf course.
