This is New Hampshire Audubon's Rare Bird Alert for Wednesday, March 3rd, 
2010.



A DOVEKIE was seen from Odiorne Point State Park in Rye on February 26th, 
and 15 RAZORBILLS, A BLACK GUILLEMOT, and 10 BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKES were 
reported from the coast on February 28th.



A BARROW'S GOLDENEYE was seen on the Connecticut River in Hinsdale on 
February 28th, and 2 pairs of GADWALL were seen on South Mill Pond in 
Portsmouth on the 27th.



A GLAUCOUS GULL was seen off Seabrook Beach, and one was seen off North 
Beach in Hampton, both on February 27th, and 6 ICELAND GULLS were seen along 
the coast in Seabrook, Hampton, and Rye, all on February 28th.



A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was reported from the Pickering Ponds on 
Pickering Road in Rochester on March 3rd.



A lone BRANT was seen in Hampton on February 28th, and 5 were seen in New 
Castle on the 26th.



A NORTHERN SHRIKE was reported from Kingman Farm in Madbury on March 1st.



BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS were again reported from Gorham on March 3rd. They have 
been most frequently seen in fruit trees at the Middle High School. Over 100 
BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS were reported from Conway on March 1st.



An adult male PINE GROSBEAK was seen in Nashua on February 23rd.



4 RED CROSSBILLS were reported from Green Hill Road in Chatham on March 3rd.



120 SNOW BUNTINGS were seen at Morrill's Farm in Penacook, and 4 were seen 
at Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, all on February 28th.



A PEREGRINE FALCON was reported from Rattlesnake Mountain in Rumney on March 
2nd, one was seen in Concord on the 2nd, and one was seen in Hampton on 
February 28th.



3 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS were seen in Madbury on February 25th.



A RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET continues to visit a feeder in Concord and was last 
reported on February 25th.



A NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWL was reported from Ashland on February 25th.



A FISH CROW was heard near Baboosic Lake in Merrimack on March 3rd.
