Black Scoters were on all 3 water bodies I checked today - single
females at Kilowatt South and on Pinneo, 22 on Runnemede. The only
other notable birds were at Pinneo, which had 37 Common and 64 Hooded
mergansers, a female scaup sp. (probably Lesser), the scoter, single
Pied-billed and Red-necked grebes. Also in weedy vegatation at Pinneo's
west end were 1 Am. Tree Sparrow, 1 Savannah Sparrow, 3 Song Sparrows, 3
Fox Sparrows, and 14 Dark-eyed Juncos. I was there between 3:30-4 pm,
and the Ruddy Duck found 3 hours earlier by Sara Eisenhauer had left.

Yesterday morning at Kilowatt South I had a Orange-crowned and 3
Yellow-rumped warblers.

Chris
