The adult Bald Eagle and 4 Common Mergansers were the only birds seen
below the Wilder Dam in late morning today. In Norwich's Hemlock Ridge
development were 35+ American Robins feeding on apples and a flock of 24
juncos.

All Upper Valley birders are encouraged to attend tomorrow's Vermont
2011 County Birding Quest wrap-up and celebration from 2-4:30 pm at the
Montshire Museum. Whether or not you actively participated in the Quest
http://www.vtecostudies.org/quest/, come meet other birders from all
corners of the state, hear about the final 2011 results and highlights,
and share some birding camaraderie, and enjoy refreshments. The 2012
Quest is already off and running, so this is a good chance to catch the
buzz and get involved.

We hope to see many of you there.

Chris
