The Ospreys, or at least one adult, are back at Kilowatt South and reassembling last year’s nest on a power pole at the impoundment’s south end. Let’s hope they’ll carry through with a viable nest this spring.
Also present are a Horned Grebe in full breeding plumage and a singing Brown Thrasher.
This week’s approaching warm weather should bring in a pulse of migrants!
