Janet and I just had fun watching 2 Red-Tailed Hawks enter our crows’ territory. They sat next to each other along side the crows for several minutes, high in a very mature cherry tree. After yelling at the hawks for a while, the crows took after them and chased them away.

Our bluebirds were sitting on their house this morning with the sun glistening off them.
We have lots and lots of Cardinals and Song Sparrows singing, and out first fully gold plumaged male finch high up in a birch. At least 2 pairs of Killdeers have returned. The Red Polls had not left as of yesterday.

And finally, on Sunday a much more reliable birder than me spotted a Meadowlark in our field.
Tim
