The juvenile eagle persists along the Pompanoosuc, now a bit further up, by the last, small bridge that jumps the river. On my way back from dropping kids off the eagle was chilling in his pine tree, but crows harried him up and over to the little bridge area, where he settled into much thicker cover (second image from a further distance). The crows numbered about 6.

PS: Otter or beaver sighting crossing 132 near Cream Street in Thetford. Pretty confident it was otter due to the unique, weasely way it moved, but it was seen from hundreds of yards away, so not completely sure. Slowed car and looked, but it was long gone, down the hill into the park. We’re lucky to live where we do.
