Despite the drizzle, our small group has some good birds, including wonderful looks at a Great Crested Flycatcher and 2 different male Scarlet Tanagers, plus a singing FOY Eastern Wood Pewee. Upon reaching the Hudson meadows the Bobolinks were everywhere, at least 4 males in the first field and 10 in the second field. Several females were also sighted. Surprisingly, no sign of Savannah Sparrows which are usually at this location. Total species 31.
