I just wanted to point out a neat article about Eastern Phoebe
migration on Vermont eBird with some cool maps that illustrate how
eBird central is beginning to look at all the eBird data that many of
you have contributed. Check it out at

Also, eBird was just awarded 100,000 hours on the NSF supercomputer to
further modeling of eBird data! See the article at
http://www.nature.com/news/2010/100810/full/news.2010.395.html. You
have helped amass over 48 million bird records, 10 million in so far
in 2010 alone! This is awesome and we thank you all for helping
understand bird population patterns!
