A noontime visit to Icehouse Rd. on Mascoma Lake.
Activity on and around beaver pond adjacent to Rail Trail & Lebrun Meadow.

Hooded Mergansers    3 
Blue-winged Teal     1(m)
Mallards             2
Belted Kingfisher    1
Killdeer             1
Song Sparrows
Red-winged Blackbirds

Canada Geese  2 resting on an old raft at end of lake along with a large beaver.  Could not tell if beaver was injured or simply enjoying the afternoon sun.
Painted Turtles      6 (with many more to come soon)
